Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
About the Role
Rock River Counseling Center (RRCC) is a growing group counseling practice seeking a part-time Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an LPC looking to build a caseload in a supportive private practice environment with supervision provided toward licensure hours.
You will provide individual therapy to a diverse outpatient caseload, including children, adolescents, and adults. You'll manage your own schedule using our electronic medical record system and maintain clinical documentation including case notes and treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy sessions in an outpatient setting
- Maintain timely, accurate case notes and treatment plans in our EMR
- Manage your own client schedule
- Work collaboratively within a small group practice
- Billing is handled through our outside billing company — no billing responsibilities required
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or related field
- Active Illinois LPC or MFT license (required)
- Experience with evidence-based modalities, interventions, and treatment plan formulation
- Prior experience providing individual therapy with children, adolescents, and adult populations
- Evening and Saturday availability preferred
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
Supervision & Support
- Clinical supervision provided toward direct and indirect hours for LCPC licensure
- Continuing Education Unit (CEU) support provided
Compensation & Benefits
- Part-time, hourly position (W-2), paid per client session
- Paid administrative time — 1 hour for every 20 clients on your caseload
- Employer-funded SEP-IRA retirement contribution (25% of eligible W-2 compensation)
- No billing responsibilities — handled by our outside billing company
- Set and manage your own schedule in a supportive private-practice environment
